Fast Lane Desktop sits on your PC or Mac, allowing you access to over 260 services and 18 of the world’s greatest courier and logistics agents enabling you a choice of the best possible rates for your courier consignments.
The Desktop is available for account customers and personal users alike. The Desktop application allows personnel to download the application to their individual machines, meaning there is no need for multiple accounts and there is visibility of bookings amongst all users in the company who employ Fast Lane’s courier services. As always the paperwork including the air waybill, customs paperwork (where required) and even the address label is automatically compiled and printed and the carrier collection is automatically arranged at the requested time.
The Desktop application allows users to view past shipment details, reprint order paperwork and even reorder previous bookings with a few clicks of the mouse without having to re-enter the information time and again. Where customers may be battling with time constraints, the newest features allow users to save quotes to be accessed at a later time when the order can be completed. Alternatively the application allows quotes to be copied and pasted elsewhere for example in to an Excel document for later reference.
Fast Lane is also the first to provide state of the art visual tracking in addition to detailed listed tracking. This means the customer can physically view on a map the progress and journey of their consignment from collection through to delivery with proof of delivery details including name, date and time of delivery, available immediately after arrival at its final destination.
